Infilling
As your natural nail grows over 2-3 weeks you will find that you will have a gap between the cuticle area and the silk. If you want to keep the nail wrapped, for instance if it is weak, you need to ‘infill’ this area.

Replacing lost nail extensions
- Cut and file the free edge of the natural nail to a fairly uniform length and shape with a grit file.
- Select a tip for each nail that fits neatly against the free edge of your existing natural nail tip end. Prepare the nail with the four basic steps, push, buff, brush and prep. Using the glue press and hold until it bonds.
- Blend the seam between the extension and the natural nail with a grit file and by buffing over lightly with the white sanding block until the seam is barely visible.
